Abstract
Objective: To investigate the in vitro mechanism of curcumin on HaCaT cells under hypoxia, and to understand the therapeutical mechanism of curcumin on psoriasis. Methods: By the immunohistochemistry method, the expressions of HIF-1α protein of HaCaT were treated with different concentrations of curcumin and the growths of HaCaT cells were investigated under hypoxia. Results: The proliferation of the cells and the expression of HIF-1α protein in HaCaT cells under hypoxia were declined significantly after the curcumin. Conclusion: Curcumin could inhibit the proliferation of the cells and the expression of HIF-1α protein in HaCaT cells under hypoxia.
