Abstract

Objective:To investigate the different sealing methods in cancer patients with peripherally inserted central catheter(PICC) tube sealing effect,to choose the better sealing methods.Methods:140 cases of malignant tumor were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group,70 cases in each group. The control group followed the SAS(S saline,A dosage,S saline),namely in the delivery before and after the use of preservative-free saline 10 ml pulse type positive pressure sealing, experimental group according to SASH method(S saline,A dosage,S saline,H heparin saline),that in group SAS method based on an additional 3ml concentration was 50 u/ml heparin saline. Results:The experimental group PICC plugging rate was significantly lower than that of control group(P0.05).Conclusion:The implementation of standardized catheter maintenance, follow the SASH pulse type positive pressure sealing method, can effectively reduce the tumor patients with PICC catheter clogging rate, provide favorable conditions for the successful completion of treatment.
