On the peasants' rebellion in Anhui in the last years of the Sui Dynasty

In the last years of the Sui Dynasty,the peasants' rebellion in Anhui lasted from the last years of the Sui Dynasty to the beginning of the Tang Dynasty,forming a great part in the whole peasants' rebellion in the last years of the Sui Dynasty. It arose widely from the north of the Huai River to the south of the Yang-zi River,the core of which was the district of the Huai River. As a part in the whole rebellion in the last years of the Sui Dynasty,it was of great importance in overthrowing the tyrannical government of the Sui Dynasty,which inflicted hard labour upon the peasants and severely destroyed the forces of production,and leading to the adjustment of the feudal relations of production to the social development.
