Abstract

Quantitative analysis software is invented for effective analysis of different vanadium carbide's morphology, and the form factor K can represent the morphology of different vanadium carbide. As for K is between 1.000 and 0.785,vanadium carbide's morphology is nodular, and it is vermicular when K is less than(0.223).Besides,when carbon is up to 4.2%, the morphology of vanadium carbide is nodular and even distributed(K and D is 0.86,0.78 μm differently).
