Application of softswitch platform in next generation electric power communication network

Abstract

Softswitch platform is one of NGN core functions,which provides real-time call control and connection for NGN.This paper introduces the basic concepts,and discusses emphatically the softswitch platform architecture and the development strategies of the next generation switch network based on softswitch technology.It also proposes the application of softswitch platform in next generation electrical power communication network and emphasizes that NGN will be the important direction for developing and constructing electric power communications in the future.
