Abstract

According to the investigation and research on the ways and models of remaining oil in the domestic and international, the thinking is presented in the paper that the three ways:type A water drive curve, the reservoir numerical modeling, and the rule of the output decline are combined under the special background of complex fault block reservoir and the exploration and development of the old oil field in east china. And at the same time, the new thinking for the research on remaining oil calculations has put emphasis on the combination of static and dynamic reservoir.Meanwhile,it also validates the results of distribution regularity and reasons for the remaining oil of one sand set of S23 fault block. It indicates that the new way is effective, and according to the comparison among the three methods, the type A water drive curve and the reservoir numerical modeling have more useful results than the method of rule of the output decline. So the way for the three methods' combination provides the solid basis for the deepen new understanding for the distribution of remaining oil and increases of outputs of oil and gas in the oil field.
