Abstract
Collection and analysis of network traffic are core technologies of network traffic measurement. Based on the Netfilter of Linux kernel space, a method to collect and analyze traffic in Linux kernel space was presented and implemented, which was able to monitor all the packets passing through the LAN and to carry out the state inspection of TCP. The experiment results show that the method is practical and efficient.
