Abstract
[Objective] To optimize the process conditions for microwave extraction of total flavonoids from sweet apricot kernel skin. [Method]Based on single factor test,effects of various factors on flavonoid concentration were analyzed through response surface methodology( RSM). The optimal conditions for microwave extraction of total flavonoids from sweet apricot kernel skin were discussed. [Result]The results showed that the optimal conditions for flavonoids extraction process included the use of microwave power 414. 98 W,64. 23% ethanol with 29. 70∶ 1 vol / wt liquid to solid ratio for 10. 39 min extraction duration. Under these conditions the extraction rate of total flavonoids from sweet apricot kernel skin was recorded as 13. 835 mg / g. [Conclusion] The study can provide a certain scientific basis for research and development of sweet apricot kernel skin.
