Exploration of adolescents’Internet Addiction

With the internet being popular,the adolescent users have been the biggest population in China. However,Internet Addiction of adolescents also has made people upset,about 5. 40% of these adolescents could be addicted according to our surveys. It is found that there was association among the Internet Addiction with adolescents’egocentrism,separation-individuation,virtual self,self-identity,attachment,personality,coping styles,resilience,life stress,and their preference of internet service. Adolescents Pathological Internet Use Scale was developed to assess the situation. Finally,Healthy Internet Use for Adolescents was conceptualized and the related criteria were put forward.
