Abstract
To realize the rapid design of valve product,a knowledge base is constructed to provide knowledge support for the computer aided design of valve product.According to the characteristics of knowledge,the organization strategy of modularization storage and method of knowledge representation is given.The combination of object-oriented and frame representation of knowledge is mainly introduced.A knowledge database is designed on the relational database supporting platform,in which the knowledge is mapped to the data tables and the relations between knowledge entities are constructed.
