Abstract

The Bingham model and the equation of the damper force for a parallel-plate model based on it are developed. The analytical solution of the damper force is solved by the theory of algebraic equation. At last,effects of the magnetorheological fluid behavior and the geometry parameter of the damper on the performances of the magnetorheological fluid damper are discussed.
