Research on the Revolution of the Traffic in the Core Area of Chang-Zhu-Tan City Group

Chang-Zhu-Tan city group is a comprehensive test area oftwo oriented societyin China,and its core area is the backbone force of regional development. Transportation is a bridge of communication among cities,and it is the link between urban agglomeration social and economic activities. Using GIS technology,this study investigates the transportation way in different times in the core area of Chang-Zhu-Tan city group. Different modes of transportation play dominant roles in the development of the social economy in different times,and the transportation manner evolve from the single transit in the past into the transportation network today.
