Abstract
According to the principles of stratigraphic datum cycle, eight long-term stratigraphic cycles(corresponding to sequences of Grade Ⅲ) are recognized in Jurassic strata in Bogeba foreland basin through comprehensive analyses of the geologic, drilling, logging and seismic data.Based on sequence division and stratigraphic correlation and the principal control factor of the middle Bogeba foreland basin can be ascertained, the distribution and evolution of sedimentary system in the study area is analyzed, draw the conclusion that the evolution of the Middle Jurassic in the study area through three relatively distinct phases.
