Abstract
Crankshaft bearing and crankshaft are important parts for internal combustion engines.The performance of crankshaft bearing and crankshaft can be greatly improved by optimum design.In this paper,current research and progress about the optimum design of crankshaft bearings and crankshaft were summarized,the shortcomings that bearing or crankshaft as the individual parts was optimized currently were discussed.Some views about how to design bearing and crankshaft more reasonably and more optimally were proposed,and some problems need to be further researched while the necessity and importance of further research were viewed.
