Abstract

In the hot summer and cold winter zone,energy loss of glass curtain walls and outer windows occupies large proportion in the overall housing construction,which not only directly relates to the energy consumption of the entire housing construction and building energy efficiency goals of sixty-five percent,but also has a direct impact on the overall housing operating costs.Public building has its particularity in thermal demand as a form of building in the hot summer and cold winter zone.The key energy efficiency issues for outer windows in the hot summer and cold winter zone were discussed,and mainly Sunshade,reasonable lighting is the basic design principle for energy efficiency of the outer windows of public buildings in the hot summer and cold winter zone.Breathing walls of double glass should not be promoted in a wide range of the hot summer and cold winter zone.
