Abstract
The survival environment of the intangible cultural heritage is worsening.Criminal law is indispensable and important in protecting the intangible cultural heritage.The provisions of criminal law may provide some protection for the intangible cultural heritage,but there are obvious shortcomings.To improve the protection of the intangible cultural heritage in China,on one hand,we should improve the relevant stipulations on the offences of violating the intangible cultural heritage.On the other hand,the inheritance of the intangible cultural heritage should be protected more.In addition,with the development of social culture,criminal legislation and criminal justice must also be adjusted accordingly.
