Abstract
Tributyl citrate was synthesized with citric acid and n-butyl alcohol as raw materils using p-toluene sulphonic acid supported on active carbon as catalyst. The optimum conditions of synthesis were determined:molar ratio of acid to alcohol is 1∶4.1,amount of catalyst is 0.6 g,reaction time is 3h based on 0.1 mol tributyl citrate, the yield of esterification is up to 96.7%.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
