Abstract
‘3414’ experiment based on soil testing and formulated fertilization was conducted to study the effects of combined application of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizer on the fertilizer response and nitrate content in lettuce(Lactuca sativa L.).The results showed that the fertilizer response function for lettuce was y=25 177.4+282.08 N-0.918 N2-110.76 P-2.649 P2+485.94 K-2.932 K2+1.347 NP-1.641 NK+2.233 PK.The highest yield and income were obtained in N2P2K2 treatment with the lowest nitrate content, which were increased by 36.6% and 38.8% respectively compared with the conventional fertilizing treatment. However, the nitrates content decreased by 39.0%.The nitrates content in lettuce was increased with the amount of N application, while decreased by increased K application.
