Abstract

Sulfamic acid was used as catalyst for the synthesis of dimer acid diethamolameine from dimer acid and diethamolameine. The catalyst showed a high catalytic activity. The acting time was 6h,acting temperature 140 ℃,the amount of catalyst(w sulfamic acid/w dimmer acid) was 0.7% and ratio of reactants was: n(dimmer acid): n(diethamolameine) =1.0:1.35.Under the optimum conditions, the percent conversion was over 92%.
