Abstract
The importance of thyristor holding current research is described from its related switch time formula,its forward characteristic,high frequency thyristor and two diffusion parameters optimization in the thyristor manufacturing,and its related quantitative formula is derived and proved from the point of thyristor reliability.By testing of some small power high frequency thyristors which have been designed,the accuracy of the new formula is verified,and the new formula's application conditions and instructions are illustrated.
