Abstract
[Objective] The aim was to study the effects of salt stress on seed germination and seedling growth of radish,and provide theoretical basis for high-yield cultivation and salt resistant breeding of radish in salt stress land.[Method] The effects of salt stress on seed germination and seedling growth of radish were explorated,by germination method of petri dish.[Result] The seed germination,root length and shoot length of radish tended to decrease with incremental NaCl concentration.However,there was no significant effect of NaCl on radish seed germination.[Conclusion] Effects of NaCl on seedling growth of radish was greater than that of NaCl on seed germination of radish.
