Abstract

Taking the papers collected by CNKI's digital publishing platform as the study objects, and adopting the bibliometric analysis, this paper carries out a quantitative statistical analysis on the academic papers about public library's services for older readers in China published in the period of 1986—2014 from aspects of the number of published papers per year, the distribution of paper-publishing journals, the fund supporting projects, and the distribution of authors and authors' institutions, etc., briefly summarizes the domestic research progress in this field, points out some existing shortages, and prospects the future research.
