Abstract
The impact of the environmental factors on hydrogen production is studied and analyzed with the batch,semi-continuous fermentation in 10 L fermentation tank.Anaerobic bacteria is immobilized inside the ceramic, and the fermentation medium is in accordance with the main component of molasses. The results show that hydrogen production by batch fermentation of molasses as substrate is much more efficient than by semi-continues culture. And the yield, hydrogen concentration and hydrogen production rates were 1.40 mol/mol sucrose,53% and 240 mL/(L·h) separately. So,it's a good method for rapid hydrogen production by fermentation with molasses in industry.
