Abstract
It is devoted to the characteristic function and parameter estimation of gamma distribution,including the moment estimation of three parameters and the maximum likelihood estimation of scale parameter when shape parameter and location parameter are known,it is found that the maximum likelihood estimation is unbiased and effective.It also researches the Pearson-χ2 distance and the Kullback-Leibler distance of two gamma distribution.
