To analyze one of John Donne's poems: A Valediction: Forbidding Mourning. First, it examines the rhythm of the poem and the function of the stressed words. Then, it studies the rhyme and the choice of words. Finally, the paper analyses the conceits and their contribution to the meaning of the poem.
