Abstract
In order to make clear the type of metamorphism of deep-seated coal in Wangfenggang mine field,and predict the coal rank of deep-seated coal in Huainan area,the relationship between coalification indicators and depth is researched by regression analysis,and the main controlling factors of increase in metamorphic grade of deep-seated coal in the mine field is analysed by borrowing the domestic and foreign scholars' research on hypozonal metamorphism theory. The results show that there is a good linear relation between coalification indicators(including that carbon content,hydrogen content,and volatile content,etc) and depth in this mine field.The regularity of the hypozonal metamorphism is obvious;And modern depth accelerates hypozonal metamorphism has a certain promotion action.This research provides new ideas for predicting the deep-seated coal rank.
