Lü Jin and the Systematization of Modern Chinese Poetics

Lu Jin is one of the famous poetry critics in modern Chinese poetic arena. He advanced and constructed a unique poetic system (which is called stylistics of modern Chinese poetry) through the understanding of Chinese poetry and poetics. His poetic system is centered on the viewpoint features and language patterns in modern Chinese poetry, in other words, the system paid attention mainly on the inner research of modern Chinese poetry and combined ancient and modern poetics, Chinese and foreign poetics together. So the system revealed the essences and developing rules of modern Chinese poetry and gave a fresh impetus to the development of modern Chinese poetics.
