Functional uterine bleeding is a common disease of gynecology.It belongs to the field of metrorrhagia and metrostaxis in terms of Chinese medical science.The clinical treatment for it by strengthening body resistance and removing blood stasis is very effective and have a satisfactory result.It can be classified as followings types.(1)kidney deficiency and blood stasis:by nourishing the kidney and promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis.(2)liver and kidney yin deficiency:by nourishing kidney and strengthening yin and promoting blood circalationg and removin blood stasis.(3) spleen and stomach qi deficiency:by the spleen and kidney and promoting bloo circulation and removing blood stasis.(4)blood-heat bleeding:by clearing heat and cooling blood and stanching metrorrhagia.Of all the 74 cases,there are 44 cases cured,by 59.4%,16 cases effective,by 21.6%,10 cases improved,by 13.5%,4 cases without effectiveness,by 5.4%.Altogether,the treatment effectiveness reaches to 94.6%.
