Abstract
With iron-carbon mixture as the revulsant,oil-containing wastewater was pretreated by microwave induced catalysis process. The optimal reaction condition was as follows: the mass ratio of iron to carbon was 2 ∶ 1,the dosage of iron-carbon mixture was 15%,the microwave power was 800 W,the pH value of the wastewater was 3,and the reaction time was 10 min.Through the treatment under the above condition, the mass concentration of CODCr in the wastewater decreased from 2 600 to 780 mg/L,the average removal rate reached about 70%.Therefore,microwave induced catalysis is an effective process for oil-containing wastewater treatment, which can provide favorable condition for the subsequent advanced treatment.
