GPRS's network formation used in electrical power system

Abstract

As a new technology,GPRS has been used in the power system in recent years.The structure of GPRS system and several feasible methods to construct a GPRS network are introduced in this paper.The processes and technology of GPRS networks are described,and the advantages and disadvantages are explained.With the advance computer network system,GPRS can be used in many fields,such as distribution automation,automatic meter reading and remote control of switchers.
