Abstract
To study the seismic response of oil storage tank structure with outside floating roof, select 2 000 m3 oil storage tank as research object, and the finite element analysis model of oil storage tanks with and without outside floating roof were established respectively. The finite element numerical simulation was calculated under single dimensional seismic excitation on Ⅲ site. The results of important peak response parameters including base shear, base moment and liquid sloshing wave height of these two different types of storage tank structure were compared in details. The numerical results show that the outside floating roof have no significant impact on base shear and base moment, but can reduce liquid sloshing wave height up to 41%.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
