Abstract
In construction industry, the dispute resolution requires high efficiency and expertise. The adjudication procedure may fit the urgent need for resolving disputes in construction industry, and the procedure is made a compulsory and most important dispute resolution method by U.K.’s HGCRA 1996. The adjudication procedure is developed into DRB procedure in United States, and also adopted by FIDIC contract, which is universally accepted. However, adjudication under common law is still widely different from the DAB procedure under FIDIC contract. To facilitate the development of construction industry,China shall improve respective regulations and provide a suitable environment for the application of adjudication in China.
