Abstract
The nature of the market economy is the unity of self-interest and altruism, which is toguarantee the healthy use of market-economy only in unity among the self-interest and altruism.But, when market-economic agents engage in economic activities, he more thinks about his owninterests. What is more, Adam Smith regarded the self-interest as the origin of themarket-economy. So, self-interest is the nature of the market economy, which is embodied in themarket-economy as the illusion. The illusion of the market-economy leads to the moral wrongknowledge that selfish self-interest having a natural and moral legitimacy in the market economicactivity. It is a great significance of good and evil in all their places by exposing the illusion of themarket-economy.
