Abstract
Servo control of accelerator position for an electronic speed governor of automotive diesel engines was studied based on fuzzy control theory, which is characterized by being unnecessary of accurate model for control object.A self adjusting fuzzy controller with on line adjustment of proportional factor and quantifying factor was proposed. The design of fuzzy controller do not depend on the accurate mathematics model of controlled object. It is a good non linear controller, and has a ideal dynamic performance and adaptability.Test on an electronic injection pump proved the effectiveness of the system with good dynamic response.
