Abstract
Diamondback moth(Plutella xylostella L.)is a main pest in vegetable production.Application of insecticides is still one of the most effective ways in controlling the pest.Insecticide resistance, caused by frequently using some main insecticides, has become a common problem during past years. In the paper, advances in insecticide resistance of Plutella xylostella are reviewed including the development of resistance, stability of resistance, resistance mechanism.Counter measures for resistance management of Yunnan are discussed.
