Discussion on scheme compilation of soil and water conservation of revetment works in Three Gorges Reservoir Area

In order to maintain the stability and effectively control the soil erosion of reservoir banks of Three Gorges Reservoir Area,the comprehensive improvements for the reservoir banks in many areas have been carried out.In view of characteristics of soil erosion caused by the revetment works,some of the key issues during the scheme drawing are put forward,the partition system of soil and water conservation and overall arrangement of prevention measures of the revetment project are introduced;the constraints and the measures with the function of soil and water conservation in the main project are analyzed and evaluated.In addition,the prevention and control of soil erosion caused by revetment works is also discussed.Therefore,it has a positive significance to effectively control the soil erosion,bring the benefits of engineering measures of soil and water conservation into play,as well as build a green,harmonious and ecological project.
