Abstract
The physiological characteristic of flag leaf of three rice varieties were studied 8~40 days after flowering under dry cultivation. The result indicated that SOD activation and soluble sugar content greatly decreased, while Proline content and MDA content greatly increased.SOD activation and Proline content of 52-7 were high, suggesting that this rice variety was suitable for dry cultivation. It was also found that there was a very significant negative linear correlation between SOD activation and MDA content,a very significant positive linear correlation between SOD activation and soluble sugar content,a significant linear negative correlation between MDA content and chlorophyll content and soluble sugar content,a very significant negative correlation between Proline content and soluble sugar content.
