Abstract

A durable interference filter with wide blocking band for the IR region is shown. The filter consists of Si and SiO 2 layers on K9 glass. Connecting two short wave pass filter at different center wavelength, resulted with a lager blocking spectral region. Some details of film design have been discussed. The technology of depositing Si material has been handled.
