Evolution Progress and Mechanism of Urban Spatial Structure of Mining City in China

This paper selects 8 typical cities as research samples,combs city development life cycle,focus on the general law of the orderly evolution of spatial structure.The paper argues that the cities should experience mining economy—new manufacturing economy—the integrated urban full development process.Space structure evolution process of cities corresponding to the whole shows that the phase characteristics is discrete punctate of economy-partition polarization of new manufacturing-the polarization group and circling of the integrated urban.It is the biggest difference of spatial structure development process and mechanism between cities and general cities that is the important role of progressively escalation of mineral resources and mining city function with the development in various stages.
