Abstract
Objective To evaluate the expression of hypoxia inducible factor-1a(HIF-1α)in hypertrophic myocardium of rat. Methods Total 30 male Wistar rats were randomly divided into sham-operated group(A,n=10),model group(B,n=13)and common group(C,n=7).Myocardial hypertrophy was produced by abdominal aortic banding.6 weeks later,we examined the extent of the myocardial hypertrophy, record hemodynamic performance, determined the expression of HIF-1α in hypertrophic myocardium of rat. Results Compared with the group A and C,the left ventricular hypertrophy(LVH)were increased in group B(P0.01).Expression HIF-1α significantly in group B(P0.01).Conclusion Over expression of HIF-1α in hypertrophic myocardium of rat that caused by pressure-overloaded.
