Abstract
Silicon-acrylate emulsion of high organosiloxane content was synthesized with seed-emulsion polymerization by adding hydrolyzation inhibitor. The influences of several technical parameters on the process of polymerization and the stability of the emulsion were discussed. The experimental results show that the emulsion with the core-shell structure has preferable properties than the generic silicon-acrylate emulsion and the water-resistance of coat of emulsion was enhanced.
