Abstract

In the math teaching there exist such pairs of contradictions as deductive orientation and inductive orientation, orientation of proving right and orientation of proving wrong, argumentative orientation and experimental orientation. At the theoretical level, math teaching is a complete teaching system with deductive orientation, orientation of proving right and argumentative orientation as the main factors and with inductive orientation, orientation of proving wrong and experimental orientation as the supplementary ones. At the practical level,we should handle well the relationship between deductive orientation and inductive orientation in the math concepts and proposition teaching. As for teachers, they should have the awareness of proving wrong and seize the opportunities and methods of proving wrong, and meanwhile raise the proportion of uncertain materials in the course books. Besides, teachers should also master the basic methods of conducting math experiments and use them in a suitable way.
