Abstract
Based on alternating process, this paper presents a kind of domain decomposition method of bi-harmonic equation over the unbounded half plane with a cave. And the convergence of the method is analyzed. It divides the domain into two parts, the one is bounded, while the other is a half plane.According to the natural boundary reduction theory, the finite element method and the boundary element one can be used respectively on them in an alternating way.
