The fundamental situation and tactics to sustainable development of forest resource in Hangzhou City

Forest resource is the fundamental of achieving the social, economic and enviromental sustainable development.In Hangzhou City, the forest resources fulfill the function of developing mountain area economy, holding water and soil, reserving organism species resource, building ecologic landscape, enhancing the city grade, and so on.The author thought that there are many restrictive factors in achieving the sustainable development of forest resource, such as limited forest land, lower forest growth, non-rational forest structure and low-effective forest management.We must build high-effective management organization and advanced monitoring forest resource system, strengthen science and technology research and application of achievement.
