Abstract
The causes and influence of imbalanced neutral point potential in the NPC three-level inverter were analyzed.Based on the optimization algorithm of SVPWM,a software strategy by adjusting the work times of active and negative small vectors was proposed. The methods were simulated with MATLAB/Simulink,and the DSP TMS3202812 was used to generate SVPWM drive signals for the NPC three-level inverter in the lab.The simulation and the waveforms of the experiments gave a conclusion that the strategy of SVPWM for neutral point potential balancing was correct and effective.
