Abstract
Natural gas hydrates (NGH) is greatest untapped reserves of potential on earth, also known as flammable ice. Gas hydrates is considered to be the 21st century's best alternative energy due to its enormous reserves, buried shallow, high-energy density, widely distributed, large scale. Currently NGH is emphasized by scientists and national governments survey findings are constantly changing. Understanding relevant exploration, development methods and results timely is particularly important for promoting development process of China' s natural gas hydrate investigation and ensuring sustained development of China's economy.
