Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of pediatric indirect inguinal hernia treated with laparoscopic high ligation of hernia sac and traditional operation therapy. Methods A total of 130 cases with indirect inguinal hernia were collected from January 2012 to June 2013 in our hospital, all subjects according to the patients' family mem-bers wills were divided into two groups, the laparoscopic group included 80 cases, and they were treated with laparoscopic high ligation of hernial sac. The traditional operation group included 50 cases, and they were treated by the traditional high ligation of hernial sac. Compared postoperative complications of two groups during and after the operation. Results Incision size of the laparoscopic group was significant shorter than that of the traditional operation group, operation time and hospitalization time were significant shorter, there were significant differences between the two groups(P 0.05); the recurrence rate and postoperative complications in proportion, the total rate of patients with pain of the laparoscopic group were significantly lower than those of traditional operation group, and family satisfaction ratings for incision of the laparoscopic group was significant higher, the differences between the two groups were statistically(P 0.05). Conclusion The curative effect of children with indirect inguinal hernia laparoscopic hernia sac liga-tion in the treatment is accurate, can be used as a safe and effective method in clinical application.
