Abstract
Objective To analysis the effect of preoperative fasting program in patients undergoing elective abdominal surgery.Methods 80patients undergoing elective abdominal surgery were randomly divided into control group and intervention group,each group had 40 patients.Patients in control group were given preoperative fasting routinely,while patients in intervention group were given the new preoperative fasting program.The preoperative,intraoperative and postoperative related indicators were compared between the 2 groups.Results The preoperative hunger,thirst,anxiety and the degree of Insulin resistance in intervention group was lower than that of control group( P0.05).Conclusion The Preoperative fasting program in patients undergoing elective abdominal surgery is safe and feasible.
