Abstract
Based on observation and analysis of the seed germination rate, germination index and seeding growth of Medicago sativa under different salt stresses, this study explores the influence of salt stress on seed germination.Study results show that,as the salt concentration level goes up,the germination of Medicago sativa is deferred, the germination rate reduced, with the semi-critical salt concentration being 135.96mmol/L and the critical salt concentration being 247.51mmol/L.The study also indicates that a low level of salt concentration can indeed improve the seed germination.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
