Abstract
The first 4 modes for engine connecting rod were obtained through modal and harmonic analysis using finite element analysis software ANSYS.The region of maximum deformation was found through analyzing the natural frequency and vibration mode shaped of connecting rod, together with Harmonic analysis, providing connecting rod design with theoretical foundation and optimized structure.
